OVERVIEW
This is an enriching cultural tour that introduces the Himalayan kingdoms of Nepal which represents the highest terrestrial ecosystem on earth. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. It is capital of Nepal, an unforgettable melting pot of Hindu and Buddhist cultures. Its share of the world's terrestrial area is just over 0.1%, but it can claim over 2.2% of the global wealth of flowering plants, 4.2% of mammals, 8.5% of birds, 1.4% of reptiles and amphibians, and 2.2% of fresh water fish species, which is a proof for richness in biodiversity in current days.
TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU
On arrival at the Kathmandu airport you will be met by our representative and transfer to your hotel. Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. After a short, relaxing break at the hotel, you will visit to Swayambhunath, the golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu Stupa which is adorned with a colourful fluttering of prayer flags.
Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU - CHITWAN (180 KMS - Approx 6 Hours drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Chitwan, one of the premier wildlife reserves in Asia. It boasts of 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests, which are home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species. Upon arrival the naturalist will host reception, refreshments, briefing about the programs and the lodge/camp facilities.

DAY 03: CHITWAN
Full day jungle activities as per lodge programme. Excellent opportunities for bird watching and excellent chance to see four kinds of deer, wild boar, rhinoceros, monkeys, sloth bear, gaur and many other smaller mammals.

DAY 04: CHITWAN – POKHARA (210 KMS – Approx 7 Hours drive)
Pokhara is often called the enchanting Himalayan valley with a heart of major actions and adventures. Arrive Pokhara and check in at the hotel.

DAY 05: POKHARA
After a delicious breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Sarangkot. The village of Sarangkot (1590 m) is situated on top of a hillock, North of Phewa Lake. On a clear day, the panoramic ranges of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Ganesh Himal can be observed from here. One hour boat ride on Phewa Lake.

DAY 06: POKHARA – NAGARKOT (208 KMS/APPROX 7 HOUR)
Drive back to Kathmandu and then continue to Nagarkot which is situated in the East of Kathmandu.

DAY 07: NAGARKOT - KATHMANDU (32 KMS - Approx 1 HOUR DRIVE)
After a breakfast, driven back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel for freshening up. Later, proceed for a visit to Patan, also known as Lalitpur.

DAY 08: KATHMANDU
After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Bouddhanath, the holy shrine of Buddhists in Nepal and Pashupatinath, the epitome of the Hindu culture in Nepal. Later in the day, you will transfer to the Kathmandu airport to board your flight back home.
